Our Prahran Gallery is the smaller of our two emporiums, with a more boutique feel. Depending on the time of year, this space hosts 70-100 Australian-based hand-crafters at any one time.
Makers exhibit a diverse range of works including jewellery, homewares, clothing, art and accessories. No product is too obscure, we love the unusual!
Established in February 2019, this space is set to revitalise Greville Street. Once home to the funkiest of stores, we’re bringing the fun back to the area!
in.cube8r Prahran hosts monthly solo shows in the upstairs gallery, showcasing Melbourne based emerging visual artists. This space is also used for life-drawing, art, craft and jewellery making workshops as well as workshops focusing on marketing skills for makers.
Our Prahran gallery has been featured in many fantastic publications in the last few years including Visit Victoria and the Chapel Street Precinct blog. Within 3 months of opening, it was shortlisted to win the Chapel Champion award.
Many makers also exhibit in the Fitzroy emporium.
I was drawn in by a beautiful dress (for my 3 year old granddaughter) in the window. Once inside I discovered that everything was locally made by hand. Everyone really helpful and I found something for a 17 year old as well. I have since returned and not for the last time. – Google review, 2019
Meet our Makers!
Attend an art show in our Prahran Gallery!
We hold shows in our upstairs gallery every month. Usually focussed on solo shows and offering the space to the featured artists to use as “artist in residence” the gallery is constantly changing and updating.
Rent a cube!
The gallery consists of cubes, shelves, clothing spaces and wall spaces for makers and artists to rent for a small weekly amount and show their creations in our space 7 days a week. We take no commission on sales and aim to support makers on their handmade journeys.
