Alisha is a lifelong creative. Her fine art mediums include oilpaint, fineline pen and art markers. Her upcycled textiles are mixed media. She also writes poetry and has a degree in graphic design.
In her youth she was fortunate to be raised in both the countryside and by the ocean in WA. She proudly acknowledges her family history which includes Aboriginal ancestors alongside European immigrants. Alisha currently lives on Peramangk country Mount Barker, SA. She prints and packages her artwork locally using sustainable materials.
Alisha’s first feature at in.cube8r is her upcycled dinosaur brooches, hand painted in diverse flag colours in support of the LGBTQIA+ community, of which Alisha is an ally. She also designs greeting cards.
