Unable to find jewellery to match her personality, Asha taught herself traditional jewellery-making techniques. With a background in Environmental Science she believes we have already extracted or manufactured all we need, if we can reconfigure these materials we can individually reduce our impact while satisfying our desire for new jewellery.
All metals used in her pieces are recycled or upcycled. Her true love is found objects whether due to the sentimentality of an item or the aging on a discarded scrap of metal.
Fascinated by texture and patina resulting from natural degradation processes, Asha’s pieces have an urban rustic feel appealing to those that embrace the perfectly imperfect view of life.
