Bowtiful Bounty

Jaslyn (she/her), Jas for short is a research scientist who enjoys crafting in her spare time as a creative outlet. She admits to being a massive anime lover, a fan of everything pop culture which inspires her Fan Art pieces. She started with making themed hairbows and fabric crafts, hence ‘Bowtiful Bounty’, and over time has expanded into other mediums and products. Jas taught herself reverse glass painting during the Melbourne lockdowns of Sep 2021. Her friends encouraged her to continue to paint, and has been developing her technique since. She finds the process a relaxing way to focus creative energy. These paintings begin with the linework and colours are applied in reverse in layers of shadows and highlights to produce the final piece. She loves bringing these characters to life and seeing other people enjoy her fan art pieces!
