DORAMENDA is created by Amenda (Dora) who is a Hong Kong-born New Zealander. Amenda primarily uses food and identity as her inspiration and mode of communication. Living in these diverse environments, social and cultural experiences hold a meaningful place and are vital to her.  An intrigue and predisposition for unusual materials, Amenda primarily uses food and identity as her inspiration and mode of communication.
DORAMENDA jewellery is Contemporary silver jewellery that suits the everyday wardrobe. 3D geometric line: This product line is inspired by artworks and stories from The Bauhaus. The story of the stone: I want to celebrate the beauty of nature, especially the original forms of gemstones. Fusion Recycled Silver line: I hand melted 2nd jewllery transform them into new jewellery. I want to give them a second life, like an incarnation approach I learned from my family’s culture.
DORAMENDA jewellery is Contemporary silver jewellery that suits the everyday wardrobe. They have three collections: 1. 3D geometric line: This product line is inspired by artworks and stories from The Bauhaus. The modernist but unique design provides a statement adornment for daily occasions. 2. The story of the stone: The idea was developed during the COVID-19 lockdown period in 2020. I want to celebrate the beauty of nature, especially the original forms of gemstones. Many people would criticise that I sent the stone to be cast directly. The answer is NO. It has taken a couple of procedures to transform it into a sterling silver piece through handmade moulds. Hence, every single item is extraordinary for me. 3. Fusion Recycled Silver line: I collected the silver jewellery from different sources, hand melted them and turned them into new jewellery. It is transformational project. I want to give them a second life, like an incarnation
