Kate is an illustrator and photography graduate of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art. Her work focuses on people, plants and mental health.
Kate jumped into the art scene in 2014 during her gap year. Although she had been creating from a younger age, it was social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram that gave her a space to share her work. Since then, her style has continuously evolved, dipping between mediums; primarily photography and illustration. She finds inspiration in the banal reality of the everyday and can be found huddled over boxes of old family photographs. This vernacular style reflects itself in her aesthetic. She also draws custom family and pet portraits! Contact her via Instagram or email for details.
