Monica is a sculptor and ceramic artist who loves playing with harmony and balance, shapes and colors, aiming to evoke warm sensitive feelings and deep emotions, hoping they give enormous pleasure to the public.
Monica studied Sculpture and Painting at the Academy of fine Arts in Mexico City.
Sculpting is Monica’s passion, and her pieces are the result of her emotions and the fascination of being able to express them in a variety of forms. In her works, she tries to combine memories and imagination with a touch of reality. She creates her pieces with the strong desire that they will touch peoples’ hearts.
Monica has been regularly exhibiting sculptures in Melbourne since 2010 through the Association of Sculptors of Victoria, has won a few prizes, and has now added a variety of small ceramics ornaments and mini sculptures to her repertoire.
MonArt Ceramics aspire to make small art pieces affordable to everyone.
