Sally Cooper/Jewellery/Love Your Threads by Sally Cooper

Sally’s love of Australian Opals and stones has inspired her to create beautiful and unique pieces of jewellery that celebrate our vibrant land.

Love Your Threads is a small on line concern started by Sally Cooper in 2013. Sally is an actress with a passion for making jewellery. Her career as an actor started at 15 yrs of age and spans 40 years.
Sally is a silversmith in her home town of Melbourne Australia. Her pieces reflect how she sees life. Her love of simplicity and letting the stones she uses speak for themselves. Australian Opals play a large part in her creative side. Sally hand cuts all her stones in her home studio. This is a technique that is time consuming and incredibly rewarding.
Sally’s inspiration for jewellery started from a simple bracelet of a floating diamond. That spurred on a passion that she has nurtured and expounded on to create what is now a driving force in her life. As a self taught silversmith, Sally has created some very unique pieces that incorporate her love of Australian Opal, Chrysoprase and Turquoise to name but a few.
Her love of the arts, acting and creating have come together organically with so many ideas in her head that she can’t get to her studio fast enough to implement them. After over 40 years in the business of entertaining people Sally now finds great comfort knowing that people are wearing her creations all around the world.
