Sarah Munnings is a self taught jewellery artist who adores working with clients to bring their designs to life, especially enjoying unconventional and quirky pieces Working in her home Sarah takes inspiration from her workshop students, the natural world, and the whimsical world of make believe. No longer shackled to a corporate role Sarah is self taught and shares with all of her students that she has made all the mistakes, has an answer for everything (as attested by her Nanna) and therefore frees her students to create without fear of failure – as every mistake leads to a new understanding.
Sarah loves to work with people from all walks of life, with different budgets and lifestyles, creating a piece that reflects their personality, interests and dreams. From the Lord of the Rings Loving client who dreamed of a wedding ring different from the crowd, to the South Australian witch who co designed the rebirth of her silver jewellery as a shiny bangle she adores bringing dreams to life with her experimental style, interactive design process and re-engineering mind.
Sarah is a self taught jewellery artist who adores working with clients to bring their designs to life, especially enjoying unconventional and quirky pieces. Sarah is self taught, and recently became a member of the Jewellers Association of Australia, as well as her brand being accredited as Australian Made. She teaches beginner techniques across Melbourne and is known for her laid back, relaxed classes and eccentric teaching style.
