Join us for DREAMS IN LOCKDOWN – A solo show with Heather Peters (Inky Splatter) showing in our Black Wall Gallery

While in lockdown, stood down from work, I was clearing out my garage and came across some small canvases. I sat down and started painting the places I’d love to visit, things I’d like to see, including Australia’s wildlife, bringing some inspiration and wonder back into my life while living through a tough pandemic.

About the artist

My name is Heather Peters and I am the Illustrator and Designer behind Inky Splatter, based in Melbourne, Australia.

Ever since I was a tiny tot paper, pencils (and barbies) were packed and came along for the adventure. The barbies are gone but I have never stopped bringing paper and pencils with me. I have several Diplomas and a Degree under my belt and when it comes to art and creating, I say YES to all types of art, craft and creation. I love trying new things, experimenting with new mediums and media, but it’s always fun to get those paints out and see what happens!
