Cuber: My Vintage Obsession (Fitzroy)Description
Light and airy just like blossom drifting on the wind…
I created this reimagined vintage necklace by repurposing a white glass flower from a broken necklace mounting it on a brass daisy stamping. I combined this floral focal with chalk white bead chain made in Japan that I sourced from old warehouse stock.
This necklace is:
- ethically and sustainably made
- limited edition
- made with an upcycled glass flower made circa 1950s, vintage brass daisy stamping circa 1960s and vintage 1950s Japanese-made beads
- 45 cm along the neck edge (refer to my necklace guide for more information)
- finished with a hook clasp
Handmade in my Melbourne workshop, this necklace contains vintage repurposed materials which show signs of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
