This is a limited edition print of Carin’s Catani Gardens watercolour painting. It was painted very quickly and deliberately shows water and paint marks, emphasising the fluidity of the nature within the gardens.
Giclée limited edition prints are of superior archival quality, light fastness and stability and make excellent gifts. This has been printed on high quality Galerie Prestige Gold Cotton textured paper, 330gsm.
Carin’s paintings combine the diversity and drama of nature with the subtlety and complexity of watercolour. They are vibrant and dramatic, or peaceful and atmospheric.
Carin says “I create paintings to give joy, to the owner of the work or for people to give as a special gift. I’m so lucky to be able to connect with people in this way. To me, the subtlety and drama of watercolour, its beauty and depth captures the world we live in like no other medium”.
Carlo Catani arrived in Australia from Italy in 1876. In the early 1900’s Catani planned the foreshore works up to Point Ormond in St Kilda Melbourne and also designed landscaping of the Gardens which came to be known as Catani Gardens. The gardens are beautiful, sitting alongside the beach, with palm trees lining the avenue. During the summer the area hosts a community event nearly every weekend. A tranquil, historic part of St Kilda, perfect for honouring in watercolour.
Created to fit standard frame sizes, Carin’s limited edition prints make affordable, high quality presents, or gifts for yourself. They are not supplied framed as this is safer for shipping and allows the owner to frame to suit their style, room and decor. This particular print is ready to hang as is, if desired. Frames Now in Prahran Melbourne has frames to suit the size of this print; frames are also available online or at other framers.
This limited edition print is personally signed by Carin, with the name of the print and the edition number. It also comes with her Certificate of Authenticity.
