Vintage ReThread is a way to continue the life of fashion garments, after their owners no longer require them; by customising them. This may be accomplished in many ways. Currently by splattering them with acrylic paint.
Inspired by the artist Jackson Pollock, this beautiful retro white top with black mesh yoke is customised with splatter paint and given a new life into the essence of boho lifestyle. Continuing the Aboriginal theme with tadpoles swimming in a billabong.
Customised on a sunny afternoon in my outdoor studio, revamping, up-cycling and creating wearable art!
