Fit for a Queen…

This elegant reimagined vintage necklace features hand-knotted lustrous Japanese-made pearl beads that I sourced from old warehouse stock.  I combined them with a repurposed clip-back earring from the 1960s featuring an image of Queen Marie Antoinette.

This necklace is:

  • ethically and sustainably made
  • one of a kind
  • made with an upcycled vintage earring (it measures 4.5 cm in length) and vintage Japanese pearl beads
  • 44.5 cm along the neck edge (refer to my necklace guide for more information)
  • Finished with a hook clasp

Handmade in my Melbourne workshop, this necklace contains vintage repurposed materials which show signs of their age in a deepened patina and minor wear. I think that is what gives them so much charm.
