Linen Pleated Blouse
This fabulous linen pleated blouse is packed with sweet details!
The beige fabric is a crisp French linen. It is lightweight and easy to press. It holds pleats neatly.
The main feature is the horizontal pleats and they are both at the front and back, which create natural volume towards the sleeves.
Sleeves were gathered at the cuffs to make lightly puffed sleeves. They are elbow length and you can push them up slightly to give more volumes, if you like.
The neckline and cuffs are trimmed with contrasting black cotton linen fabric and fastened with vintage black buttons.
The back nape opening is also fastened with a matching button and the decorative ribbon is attached next to it.
You can tie them in a nice bow before you wear it – easy!
The style is sweet but sharp contrast of monotonous colours add a touch of grown-up look.
This blouse can be worn on its own, or pair it with a long sleeve knit for a cooler days.
It has a perfect length for the waist ‘in or over’ a skirt and pants.
I have used this gorgeous pattern from Japanese pattern book by Magali.
