Upcycled 1930s-1940s Nielloware Siam Sterling earrings with sterling silver hooks by My Vintage Obsession
These upcycled sterling silver clip-back earrings were made in Siam in the 1930s-1940s and were most likely purchased as a souvenir. This style of decorating silver known as Nielloware has a long history in Siam (now known as Thailand). I suspended them from Sterling Silver hooks and they measure 3cm in length.
They are decorated with the image of Thepanom, a Thai guardian angel deity.
