Upcycled mid-century modernist earrings by My Vintage Obsession
$40.00
These upcycled mid-century modernist earrings were originally made in screw-back form. Mid-century modernist design evolved post WWII and is identified by clean lines and bold, abstract geometric shapes.
These earrings are silver toned (probably Rhodium plated) and feature a filigree drum shape pierced by a silver toned ring, so circles on circles.
I have suspended them from Sterling Silver hooks. Sadly I forgot to measure their length before I sent them to the incube8r gallery, but I think they are about 3 cm from the top of the hook to the base of the ring. If you buy them I’d love you to let me know how close my guess was 🙂
Sustainably made in my Melbourne workshop.
