Upcycled vintage earrings by My Vintage Obsession
These upcycled vintage earrings were originally clip-backs. Their design was influenced by Middle Eastern shapes, one of the strong design influences in the 1960s. The 1980s saw a 1960s revival, so these these earrings would date from that period and are in excellent vintage condition overall.
Gold, hoops and statement earrings are in fashion again now, and upcycled vintage earrings like these are sustainable so these tick so many boxes.
I have suspended them from 14 K Gold Filled hooks. Sadly I forgot to measure them before I sent them to the incube8r gallery so my best guess is between 5-6 cm from the top of the hook to the base of the drop. If you buy them… I’d love you to let me know how close my guess was 🙂
Sustainably made in my Melbourne workshop from vintage repurposed materials. I love the imperfections and charm that these items can add to our lives.
