I made these earrings with some beautiful soft peridot green Art Deco fan shaped rhinestones that I sourced from a vintage supplier in the USA. I have mounted them on antique bronze plated filigree bases which were stamped out using antique equipment and patterns.
These earrings are:
- ethically and sustainably made
- limited edition
- made with Art Deco fan-shaped rhinestone fans circa 1960s, new antique bronze coloured filigrees made in the USA
- 4 cm in length
- Suspended on 14 carat gold filled hooks
These earrings have been made in my Melbourne workshop with materials which hold some evidence of their former life in a deepened patina and minor wear; I think that is what gives them so much charm.
